A day with enthusiastic players
On October 31, 2026, RBA held a basketball clinic in Miyako, Iwate.
Around 12 players joined us, bringing enthusiasm and a strong desire to learn. It was a pleasure to spend the day working with them and sharing the game.
Supporting local basketball with Yamane and BiiLDact
The clinic was made possible with the support of Yamane, who runs the local basketball academy BiiLDact. He is working to make basketball more popular in his community, and I was happy to contribute to his efforts through this clinic.
If you are looking for a place to learn basketball in the Miyako area, please visit the BiiLDact website linked below.
Building an ongoing connection
I hope this is the beginning of an ongoing connection. Together with Yamane and the local community, we want to create more opportunities for players to keep learning, challenge themselves, and grow.
Thank you to all the players, their families, and Yamane for making this such an enjoyable experience. I look forward to sharing the court with everyone in Miyako again!
